Why are you running for this office and what do you hope to accomplish while in office?
I've served on the Board of Finance since 2014 and want to continue to contribute to the sound financial management of our town. I want to work with the Boards of Finance and Selectmen to review and enhance the town's budget-making process and to assure that our tax revenue is spent as carefully and effectively as possible. Education
BA, Yale College JD, New York University School of Law Experience Partner, Wiggin and Dana LLP, 30 years practicing corporate law. Vice President and co-owner, Imp Print Sportswear. I have many years' experience as a small business owner and a corporate lawyer. I am familiar with the challenges and opportunities faced by institutions of all sorts and how financial resources can be utilized to best advantage--or wasted. Why should someone vote for you? My service on the Board of Finance has given me insight into its strengths and weaknesses, enabling me to be an effective member of the Board. My prior legal and business experience also help me thoughtfully analyze the town's needs, problems and opportunities, and make sound decisions regarding the most effective use of its financial resources. I take this position very seriously and will do my best to promote the interests of our town in a fiscally-sound manner. My judgment will always be independent and not driven by the platform of any political party. |

My favorite place in Old Lyme is Edge Lea and my favorite pastimes include sailing, reading and spending time with friends.
